Marine Appreciation – Law School Scholarship
Eligibility:
For a law student attending (or accepted and planning to attend) an accredited law school and is or has had a family member in the Marine Corps.
Entrants must submit a 1-3 page essay describing their experience and the impact of the service and sacrifice to their family.
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and 18 years or older.
Academic achievement demonstrated through a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 from undergraduate or current law school work.
Requirements:
Applicant must submit an essay and application by: June 30th
Submit an official copy of undergraduate and/or law school transcripts with GPA.

Winners provide personal information as needed to The Law Office of Steven A. Leahy, PC where appropriate. Any taxes on scholarship are the sole responsibility of the contestant. Through accepting a scholarship, the applicant with agree to allow The Law Office of Steven A. Leahy, PC
to use its name, law school attending and picture (possibly) to announce the scholarship award.
Award:
• Scholarship is to be used exclusively for law school tuition and/or books.
• One applicant is awarded a $1,000 scholarship. The check will be made payable to the award recipient’s law school to cover these expenses.
• Recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.
