Scholarship Description
The Family & Children’s Services of Lebanon County Fund of the Foundation for Enhancing Communities provides financial scholarships for Lebanon County residents pursuing higher educationdegrees in social sciences and human services. The scholarships are granted to students enrolled in schools of advanced education in the fields of medicine, nursing, social work, mental health, and otherspecialized therapies in the treatment of physical and mental disabilities.SELECTION CRITERIA:Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:1. Must be residents of Lebanon County.2. Financial need3. Academic aptitude and achievement4. Commitment to a career in human services.5. Must be enrolled as full-time or part-time students in an accredited undergraduate post-secondary educational institution.6. Must be pursuing a degree in the fields of social sciences or human services.7. Essay 300 words maximum, typewritten, 12 pt. font, double spaced.
