Scholarship Description
Criteria: Be employee or spouse, child or grandchild of an active, retired or deceased employee of GM Powertrain Bay City. Employee does not have to be a Bay County resident. May reapply in future years.Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:* Student is attending or will attend an accredited college or university in the United States. * Student must have two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be school related and one letter may be personal or professional.* Student must submit a 500 word essay replying to the question, “Why are you seeking a Bay Area Community Foundation scholarship? How will it make a difference in your life?”* Scholarship Application and ALL attachments must be submitted to the Bay Area Community Foundation by 4:30 pm on the first Monday in March.
