Scholarship Description
Established to assist current high school graduates of northwest Ottawa County who demonstrate financial need and academic excellence. Strong consideration will be given to those students pursuing education and long-term careers in the areas of business and/or accounting and who are planning to attend a public university. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a competitive process which considers financial need, academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, educational goals and personal aspirations. The community foundation’s Board of Trustees has final approval of scholarship recommendations made by the foundation’s Scholarship Committee or the advisory committees of certain scholarship funds. Scholarship amounts vary based on annual income available from each fund.
