Scholarship Description
The Jewish Braille Institute of America has one scholarship fund that has been established through a bequest from a deeply dedicated donor. Its use is limited and the students must fulfill the following requirements for eligibility. 1. The recipient must be legally blind. 2. The student must utilize the scholarship funds for training to enter a field of Jewish community endeavor. This would include those studying to be rabbis, cantor and educators in Jewish studies as well as those taking special courses for degrees in Jewish communal service. 3. The student must demonstrate financial need.
