Scholarship Description
The scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors in California. To be eligible, a student must first have entered a regional or county science fair with a project related to any of the marine sciences—geology, biology, meteorology, chemistry, etc.—or to marine technology. (For information about entering their local science fair, students should talk with their science teachers or department heads.) In addition, the student must have applied to (and must be the following fall have enrolled in) a college or university in California.
