Scholarship Description
A one year $3,000 scholarship for engineering technology students enrolling in a two-year associate or bachelor degree program with all applications received and reviewed annually including reapplication from former scholarship recipients. The basic criteria on which all scholarships are granted are as follows: - Prior academic performance - Candidates must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 out of 4.0. - At least one full year of studies remaining in an engineering technology curriculum leading to an associate degree or - At least one full year of studies remaining in an ABET-accredited curriculum leading to a bachelor degree in engineering technology - Potential service to the HVAC and/or refrigeration profession - Need for financial assistance - Leadership ability - Recommendations from instructors - Character
