Scholarship Description
ASHRAE Engineering Scholarships (2), ASHRAE Memorial Scholarship (1), Alwin B. Newton Scholarship (1), Duane M. Hanson Scholarship (1), and Henry Adams Scholarship (1) are one year $3,000 scholarships with all applications received and reviewed annually including reapplication from former scholarship recipients. The basic criteria on which all scholarships are granted are as follows: - Prior academic performance - Candidates must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 out of 4.0. - At least one full year of studies remaining in an ABET accredited curriculum - Potential service to the HVAC and/or refrigeration profession - Need for financial assistance - Leadership ability - Recommendations from instructors - Character
