Scholarship Description

To be eligible, applicant must be enrolled in the program a minimum of 4 months during the upcoming academic year August to July.  Scholarships are available for the following education program categories:  Graduate Scholarships 1. Planned or current enrollment in an advanced degree program.  Students who are already enrolled in a dietetic internship (DI) or preprofessional practice program (AP4) and will be completing a graduate program.  2. Intention to practice in the field of dietetics.  3. U.S. citizen or permanent resident.  Some scholarships require specific areas of study (eg, public health nutrition, foodservice administration, and medicine) and status as a registered dietitian.  Such information is requested in the application form.  Dietetic Internship/Preprofessional Practice Program Scholarships 1. Planned or current enrollment in a CADE-accredited dietetic internship (DI) or CADE-approved preprofessional practice program (AP4) to establish registration eligibility.  Applicants to DI/AP4 programs who are participating in computer matchingmust confirm appointments by the date specified on the application form.  (Students who are applying to a combined DI orAP4 graduate program should also apply in this category.)  2. Demonstrate or show promise of being a valuable, contributing member of the progression.  3. US citizen or permanent resident.
