Scholarship Description
Awarded since 1958 to a junior or senior woman engineering or computer science student of outstanding potential and achievement. Dr. Gilbreth, in whose honor the scholarship was named, was well known for the many contributions which she made to the field of industrial engineering and management. Minimum GPA is 3.0. All SWE scholarships are open only to women majoring in engineering or computer science in a college or university with an ABET-accredited program or in a SWE-approved school, and who will be in a specified year of study during the academic year the grant payment is made. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5/4.0 or above.
