Scholarship Description
PURPOSE: The Michigan Section American Water Works Association Raymond J. Faust Scholarship was established to promote the pursuit of advanced education by water utility employees, a goal which commemorates the water supply career of Raymond J. Faust with the State of Michigan and the American Water Works Association.
ELIGIBILITY: All Michigan water utility employees and their dependents are eligible, as well as individuals pursuing a water utility career. The scholarship award is based on demonstrated dedication to the water supply industry and to the pursuit of a college or associate degree in the drinking water field. Applicants will not be evaluated on financial need, but must be a member of the Michigan Section American Water Works Association.
AMOUNT: The Association intends to provide one or more scholarship(s) annually. The annual award amount is determined by the interest earned from the scholarship endowment.
