Scholarship Description
This scholarship was established in May 1987 by the Amarillo Handgunners Club, Inc. to provide financial aid to a deserving student with achievements in shooting sports. The scholarship is named in memory of Bill Goodson, a stalwart pioneer of the club.
Eligibility
• Resident of 26 northernmost counties of Texas Panhandle
• Must be an American citizen
• Graduating senior
• Maintained “C” average grade during school year and a 2.0 while attending college/university
• Engaged in or sincerely interested in a shooting sport or activity
• Unrestricted in field of study or institution attended

The annual application deadline is generally mid-February each year.
