Scholarship Description
This Scholarship will be judged & awarded on merit and need. Applicants will be required to demonstrate:
1. How an injury you or someone close to you experienced has impacted your life.
2. How your experience with an injury or an accident has contributed to your desire & motivation to become an attorney.
3. Personal commitment to working with, helping or caring for those affected by injuries and accidents?
These personal injuries or accidents can be from (but not limited to) car accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip & falls, dangerous property or work conditions, etc. To be considered, the injuries sustained should not be self inflicted or by injured person’s own fault.
Injury Scholarship Requirements
This scholarship is judged & awarded primarily on merit & need.
Completed application must be submitted online by May 31. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Applicant must be attending Law School.
Applicant will have successfully completed at least one semester of law school but will not yet have graduated by fall semester
Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.
A transcript must be attached for application for consideration.
Applicant must submit an un-opened copy of official transcripts if selected as a finalist.
This scholarship is a one-time award worth $2,000 to be awarded the fall semester.
Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or resumes to substantiate their application.
Applicant will be required to demonstrate both their merit and their need for this scholarship
