Comprehensive Bleeding Disorders Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Description

Comprehensive Bleeding Disorders Center (CBDC) offers a yearly scholarship opportunity nationwide to all individuals affected by bleeding disorders. CBDC supports annual scholarships to assist individuals in gaining and furthering their higher or technical education each school year.

Any individual who is diagnosed with a congenital or acquired chronic bleeding disorder is eligible. The applicant must have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or above and enrolled or plan to enroll, as a full or part-time student at an accredited vocational/trade school, technical school, junior college, or a four-year college/university. The application consists of a completed essay, letters of recommendation, prior school transcripts and a letter from your health care team or provider.

To assure a high level of professionalism in dealing with students, parents, and schools, the CBDC Scholarship Fund is managed each year by the Community Foundation of Central Illinois, an organization that specializes in administering scholarships.
