Scholarship Description
One (1) grant will be awarded in the amount of $1,500.00 for use in artistic encouragement. This can be used for mounting an exhibition of one’s work (i.e. photography, painting/watercolor, animation, publishing a story/ book or animation, writing a play, having a recital or any kind of creative endeavor).
Eligibility Requirements:
A person bleeding disorder
Seeking a post-secondary education either from a college, university or trade school
Able to demonstrate his/her commitment to improving the quality of their life by pursuing his/her goals with determination
Please submit the following for the Artistic Encouragement Grant:
Completed application
Samples of work/portfolio (limit to 3-5 pieces)
Statement of financial need
Copy of official transcript
Acceptance letter/Enrollment Verification letter
Two letters of reference (one professional reference, the other from HTC or physician)
Essay: Explain the purpose for the use of the grant and supply an outline/time frame for the completion of the project, and what you expect to get out of it and how it will help you in the future with you artwork
