Scholarship Description
Intelligence Scholarships of $2,250 (undergraduate) and $5,000 (graduate) will be awarded to students enrolled full-time in degree-granting programs in fields directly related to the support of U.S. intelligence or homeland security enterprises, and/or foreign languages.*
*Distance-Learning or Online programs affiliated with a major U.S. institution are eligible.
Eligibility:
Applications are requested from qualified sophomore and junior undergraduate students and graduate students enrolled full time in an eligible degree-granting program. Must be at least second-year student, regardless of academic hours accumulated.
Applicants must be currently enrolled at the time of application in a two-year or four-year accredited college or university in the United States. Distance-learning programs are eligible.
U.S. citizenship required.
A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
Candidates must be majoring in a field directly related to the support of U.S. intelligence or homeland security enterprises with relevance to the mission of AFCEA such as global security and intelligence studies, foreign languages, computer science information technology, or electronic engineering.
These are merit scholarships based on demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and financial need.

PLEASE NOTE: At least two letters of recommendation will be required from field-of-study professors or employers.
