$1000 Annual Scholarship from My Visa Source

Scholarship Description

Once a year, My Visa Source awards a merit-based scholarship for a student pursuing higher education with an emphasis in law.

My Visa Source is a leading immigration firm in Canada, and the business seeks to make educational opportunities available to those committed to studying and school.  Any student who is entering or currently attending university as a full-time student in Canada or the U.S. is eligible.

My Visa Source hopes to help alleviate some of the financial stress for a hard working student.  Sunny S. Dhillon, Head of Private & Business Clients at My Visa Source, thinks this kind of encouragement goes beyond a dollar sign, and strives to support the success of inspired youth.

How to Apply

Eligibility:  Canadian or U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and enrolled in a Canadian or U.S. university in Fall.

Application: Four components must be submitted for your entry:  (A) Application form, (B) Small writing project, (C) Copy of transcript, (D) Proof of Canadian Residence

(A) Application Form:  Click to view and print: My Visa Source Scholarship Application. All fields must be filled out.

(B) Small Writing Project:  On a website, blog, or online forum, write a 800-1000 word post that expresses your ideas about David Suzuki’s recent comments regarding Canadian immigration (http://goo.gl/2PBcxR).

Criteria for evaluation: the best posts will be creative, express the writer’s thoughts clearly and concisely, and avoid grammatical or spelling errors.  The post must also include a link from the website or blog to the My Visa Source website (www.myvisasource.com).

(C) Transcript: Include, or have sent, a current transcript (either official or an unofficial printed copy) of your high school grades, along with documentation from a university evidencing acceptance of the applicant into a university program, to the address below.

(D) Proof of Residence: Include a certified copy of documentation evidencing citizenship or permanent residence
