Scholarship Description
Eligibility Requirements:
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
Plan to enroll full-time in a degree seeking program with the U.S. as a Freshman at a four-year U.S. accredited institution and obtaining their 1st undergraduate degree
Must have completed 10 hours per month of community service. This activity will be tracked by GOYA.
Must be majoring in Culinary Arts or Food Sciences (select Culinary Arts as major)
Must have a permanent address in one of the following areas:
California (counties of Merced, Madera, Kings, Tulare, Kern, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, Imperial)
