Scholarship Description
This award is named after Ted Highberger, Sr., who died in 1987. Mr. Highberger was a metallurgist who had a passionate love of golf. The award was funded by Ted Highberger, Jr. in 1998 and is for an Ouimet Scholar who is an outstanding business student. To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have completed at least two years service to golf as caddies, helpers in the pro shop, or course superintendent operations at a club in Massachusetts. The awards are “need-based” and assist with tuition at accredited undergraduate institutions.
