Scholarship Description
This award is named for the late Wollaston Golf Club member and is for a female Ouimet Scholar. The award was institutedin 1998 and the first Ouimet endowed award named after a woman. Adele Foley was the wife of Bill Foley, Alumnus and former President of both the Francis Ouimet Society and the Ouimet Fund.To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have completed at least two years service to golf as caddies, helpers in the pro shop, or course superintendent operations at a club in Massachusetts. The awards are “need-based” and assist with tuition at accredited undergraduate institutions.
