Mary Casey Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The Mary Casey Scholarship was established in 2006 by her son, William Casey. Mrs. Casey, who died at age 72 in 1984,lived in Swampscott, Massachusetts, where she raised four sons - Bill, Peter, Tom and Jack. She was a Controller for Swartz and Benjamin Shoe Factory in Lynn, MA. She instilled a work ethic and family values in her children, and was always interested in the best education possible for her boys. The Mary Casey Scholarship is for an Ouimet Scholar attending Northeastern University.To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have completed at least two years service to golf as caddies, helpers in the pro shop, or course superintendent operations at a club in Massachusetts. The awards are “need-based” and assist with tuition at accredited undergraduate institutions.
