Scholarship Description
Established in 1991 and named after the retired golf writer at the Patriot Ledger Newspapers in Quincy, this award is restricted to journalism or communications majors or students intending to pursue a career in those fields.To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have completed at least two years service to golf as caddies, helpers in the pro shop, or course superintendent operations at a club in Massachusetts. The awards are “need-based” and assist with tuition at accredited undergraduate institutions.
