Scholarship Description
The Bank of America Championship was a PGA TOUR Champions Tour event that was played for many years at Nashawtuc Country Club, and was conducted by Nashawtuc Charities, a charitable arm of the club. The award was established in 2004 and is for Ouimet Scholars who have performed his or her “golf service” at Nashawtuc Country Club.To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have completed at least two years service to golf as caddies, helpers in the pro shop, or course superintendent operations at a club in Massachusetts. The awards are “need-based” and assist with tuition at accredited undergraduate institutions.
