Scholarship Description
This award was established in 1998 and is named after Mr. Bailey, a former member of Charles River and Brae Burn CountryClubs who played frequently with Francis Ouimet. Mr. Bailey was an insurance executive who died in 1967.To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have completed at least two years service to golf as caddies, helpers in the pro shop, or course superintendent operations at a club in Massachusetts. The awards are “need-based” and assist with tuition at accredited undergraduate institutions.
