Scholarship Description
The North American Indian needs have been a concern of the Order since 1934. After World War II the Order became aware of the needs of the youth of the Indian community to receive Post secondary education. Poor health and other problems needed addressing also. We assist thirteen missions and schools. We help over 100 tribes through donations from our members in circles, Branches, and bequests.The Order offers $650.00 scholarships with no restriction as to Tribal affiliation or Indian blood quantum. The student must provide a Tribal Registration number and fulfill the other requirements. The scholarships are given for technical, vocational or college studies but not granted for studies beyond a Bachelors degree.A student must personally request information concerning requirements and application forms.
