Scholarship Description
The primary source of funds is from the trust established by the Trustees of The Edith and Herbert Stehberg Charitable Trust, and are awarded to undergraduate studies at any private or public (NOT PAROCHIAL OR VOCATIONAL) college or university. Scholastic achievement (60%), financial need (35%) and community involvement (5%) are considered. Jewish and non-Jewish students are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Students must be United States citizens. Up to five scholarship of $2,385.00 will be awarded. Candidates must enroll beginning with the fall semester and must remain eligible to receive the second distribution for the spring semester. Education level: Undergraduate students GPA: 3.0 Test Scores: SAT1000or ACT24 Areas of involvement: Cultural/religious studies, camps, trips, retreats and organizations. Community/civic activities. School-related activities. Hours enrolled/semester: 12 Giving primarily in Texas.
