Scholarship Description
Established by the family of the late Mickey and Ruth Schimmel in their memory. Scholarships are available for undergraduate or graduate students. Financial need (50%), academic merit (30%), and community involvement (20%) will be considered. Jewish and non-Jewish students are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Two $2,500.00 scholarships will be awarded. Education level: Undergraduate and Graduate students GPA: 3.0 Undergraduate Test Scores: SAT1000or ACT24 Graduate Test Scores: GRE v540 q640 a600 or GMAT v32 q35 or equivalent Areas of involvement: Cultural/religious studies, camps, trips, retreats and organizations. Community/civic activities. School-related activities. Hours enrolled/semester: 12/undergraduate 9/graduate Giving primarily in Texas.
