Scholarship Description
Established by the Federation Board of Directors in memory of Ben and Dorothy Lewis, two outstanding leaders of the Jewish community. Scholarships are available for Jewish students pursuing a career as a Jewish community professional (rabbinate, Jewish teacher, community worker, etc). Financial need and academic merit will both be considered. One $400.00 scholarship will be awarded. Education level: Jewish undergraduate and graduate students GPA: 3.0 Undergraduate Test Scores: SAT 1000 or ACT 24 Graduate Test Scores: GRE v 540 q 640 a 600 or GMAT v 32 q 35 or equivalent Area of study: Jewish Community Professional Areas of involvement: Jewish studies, camps, trips, retreats and organizations. Community/civic activities. School-related activities. Hours enrolled/semester: 12/undergraduate, 9/graduate. Giving primarily in Texas.
