Scholarship Description
Established by Dr. Hal Jayson in loving honor of his mother Annette Golman Jayson, and his aunt, Frances Goodman Golman who are both living lives dedicated to Judaism. Scholarships will be provided for Jewish undergraduates and graduate students to participate in an organized course of academic study in Israel. There is no minimum academic grade point average or test score required. Academic merit (20%), financial need (60%) and community involvement (20%) will be considered. One scholarship of $1,000.00 will be awarded. Education level: Jewish Undergraduate and Graduate students Areas of involvement: Jewish studies, camps, trips, retreats and organizations Community/civic activities School-related activities Hours enrolled/semester: 12/undergraduate, 9/graduate Giving primarily in Texas.
