Scholarship Description
Established by Hilma B. Levy and Walter J. Levy in loving memory of their daughter, Barbara Kay Levy Calick, for the purpose of providing scholarships to assist with the costs of technical or trade training. Funds may also be used to aid with the costs of higher education at the undergraduate or graduate level. There is no minimum academic grade point average or test score required. Scholarship awards will be based on a combination of financial need, academic merit, proven leadership qualities and community involvement. Jewish and non-Jewish candidates are eligible to apply for this scholarship. One scholarship of $580.00 will be awarded. Areas of involvement: Cultural/religious studies,camps, trips, retreats and organizations. Community/civic activities. School related activities Hours enrolled/semester: 12/undergraduate, 9/graduate Giving primarily to Texas.
