Scholarship Description
This fund will provide scholarship assistance to help defray college or university expenses of African-American students from any Jefferson County Public School graduating with a minimum of 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average and wish to attend any four-year post-secondary educational institution. Eligibility: Must graduate with a minimum 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average and wish to attend any four-year post-secondary educational institution. Preference will be given to students who will be the first in their family to attend college. Initial recipients will be selected from the Whitney M. Young Scholars Program of the Lincoln Foundation.
