Scholarship Description
Criteria: Two scholarships awarded to young women pursing higher education. Must have 3.0 GPA, record of community service, demonstrated leadership skill and/or extra-curricular activities. Available to Rochester, Adams and Stoney Creek seniors, Avondale School District or students residing in the Greater Rochester community are eligible for consideration. Award: $600 Background: Established by the Rochester AAUW to encourage young women in the pursuit of educational excellence. Applications should be either typed or printed in black ink. Applications in pencil will not be considered.
