Scholarship Description
Established By: Mabel and Eugene Higgins in memory of Mabels parents William S. and Emma Washburn. It is designed to assist Indiana students studying agriculture, home economics or pre-medicine. In 2001, Mabel passed away at the age of 97. She established this scholarship prior to her death as she wished to see some of her wealth be spent while she was alive to enjoy it and to make an impact well into the future.
