Scholarship Description
Inaugurated in the year of Ellingtons Centennial, two scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students of jazz composition at UCLA. The music faculty at the school oversees selection of the students. The program is funded through an endowment provided by the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation.
