Scholarship Description
The Research Fellowship Program promotes the economic, social, technical, and cultural development of the member states in order to achieve a stronger bond and better understanding among the peoples of the Americas. Fellowships are available to citizens or permanent residents of any OAS member country for research. Applicants must know the language of the country where research will take place and must secure acceptance in a university or appropriate facility. The award covers travel, study materials, tuition, and a subsistence allowance for periods between three months and two years.
