Scholarship Description

Source: The Institute of Navigation (ION) Eligibility: To qualify to receive a scholarship award, an applicant must be a current college/university student and have successfully completed at least one term/quarter of classes. An undergraduate or graduate student must have a minimum GPA in college/university work of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale, or the equivalent in a different grading system. The award is limited to students who are current or future ION members and whose primary residence is in the Southern California section membership region. Apprenticeship activities will be selected to enhance the student’s exposure to modern or classical navigational methods, with minimal time commitment.
