Scholarship Description
The College of Medicine’s highest award, this honor is presented to the graduating senior who, in the opinion of the faculty, has most exemplified a combination of compassion and academic excellence over all years of training. Winners of this award perform in a manner exemplary of the institution’s Mission, as manifested in academic achievement in basic science and clinical coursework. Awardees also demonstrate compassion in clinical service. The winner of this award is selected by the Awards Committee, with input from the senior class.
