Scholarship Description
To provide funding to members of AANP who wish to develop a community-based health care project. Amount Awarded: $2000 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to members of the academy who are currently licensed, practicing NPs. Applicants must be interested in funding a community-based health care project designed and administered by NPs. The project must directly deliver health care to a specified community and/or educate a specific community population about prevalent health care issues. It must be a new project, defined as a project that is in the planning stage or has not been implemented for more than 6 months. Additional Information: There is a $10 application fee. For community-based health care project.
