Scholarship Description
To provide financial assistance to minority undergraduate and graduate students who wish to prepare for careers in nursing. Number Awarded: 13 to 15 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: Minority undergraduate students currently enrolled in state-approved schools of nursing or pre-nursing associate degree, baccalaureate, diploma, generic doctorate, and generic master’s programs are eligible to apply. Graduating high school seniors are not eligible. Selection is based on academic achievement, financial need, and involvement in student nursing organizations and community health activities. Additional Information: Applications must be accompanied by a $10 processing fee.
