Scholarship Description
To provide financial assistance to members of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) who are pursuing post-master’s degree study. Amount Awarded: $1000 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to student and full members of the academy who have a master’s degree in nursing and are pursuing nurse practitioner education in an accredited post-M.S. program. Applicants must have a grade point average in their post-master’s program of 3.2 or higher. They must have completed at least 25 percent but no more than 75 percent of their program requirements.
