Scholarship Description
Established in memory of Dr. Robert L. Hamill to honor him and his passion for problem solving. This scholarship recognizes a Johnson County high school graduate who is planning to major in microbiology, chemistry or biochemistry.
Criteria:
▪ Plan to major in microbiology, chemistry or biochemistry
▪ A graduating senior from a public Johnson County high school
▪ Accepted to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study at an accredited public or private college or university
▪ Demonstrates the potential to succeed in college and chosen area of study
▪ Exhibits good character and commitment to school and community
▪ Must have standardized test scores, GPA and/or class rank that demonstrates academic preparation and performance
