Scholarship Description
This scholarship has been created to honor the late Paul Cesar, long time Harrison County Coroner and owner of Beanblossom Cesar Funeral Home. This scholarship provides support to graduating seniors pursuing vocational or traditional studies in the following fields: social services, medical, or mortuary.Selections are based on application, criteria, and score sheet provided by HCCF to be used by the Scholarship Selection Committee. The criteria used to select scholarship recipients shall be related to the purpose of the scholarship and will include the following: academic performance, performance on a test designed to measure ability and aptitude for college work, attendance, extracurricular activities, work activities, volunteer activities, honors and awards, extenuating circumstances and personal insight essay.
