ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - Applicants MUST meet all of the following criteria: 1. Must have a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA). 2. Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited four year college/university, or a full-time student at a two year college enrolled in a program leading to an academic degree. 3. Majoring in one of the following college disciplines at a accredited 4-year college or university: * Math * Medicine * Physical Science * Technology * Science * Engineering * Natural Resources 4. Must be a member of an American Indian tribe or otherwise considered to be an American Indian by the tribe with which affiliation is claimed; or is at least 1/4 American Indian blood; or is at least 1/4 Alaskan Native; or considered to be an Alaskan Native by an Alaskan Native group to which affiliation is claimed. 5. The Health Careers Scholarship Program was started in May 1976. It is supported through individual contributions of the Order's members. Since there is no set budget, the number of scholarships available may vary from year to year.Students preparing for careers in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, physical or occupational therapy, and medical technologies are eligible to apply. A student must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen, enrolled full time in a school accredited in the field involved and application must be for at least the third year of college. R.N. students must have completed the first year of schooling. Pre-med students are not eligible to apply. For those students seeking degrees of M.D. or D.D.S. application must be for at least the second year of medical or dental school. There is no age limit. Scholarships are for $1000.00.Requests for applications must include a stamped, self-addressed legal size envelope.

Vantage Point Recovery is offering our annual General Education and Mental Health Education Scholarship! We are dedicated to helping to support education specific to mental health. Any student currently enrolled in an accredited college is considered eligible.

R&D Systems is proud to support education in science with a scholarship program established to students who are pursuing a degree in a science related field. The R&D Systems Scholarship Program will be awarded to students pursuing a degree in a science related field. A $1500 (or international currency equivalent) scholarship will be awarded twice a year for one student in the fall semester and one student in the spring semester.

Xerox is committed to the academic success of all minority students. That’s why we offer a Technical Minority Scholarship that awards between $1,000 and $10,000 to qualified minorities enrolled in a technical degree program at the bachelor level or above. The Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship provides funding to minority students enrolled in one of the technical sciences or engineering disciplines. This scholarship is available to US Citizens and individuals with Permanent Resident visas. The scholarship is not available to spouses and children of Xerox employees.

The scholarship award (individually, a “Scholarship” or an “Award”, together, the “Awards”) includes full tuition for the academic years, and will be awarded at the beginning of the school year. The Scholarship does not cover room and board, other living expenses, books or materials fees, transportation, or other costs not included in tuition. Up to ten (10) Awards will be granted by BlackBerry in accordance with the selection criteria described below. The specific terms and conditions of the Awards will be contained in a letter sent to each recipient of a Scholarship. The Recipient will be required to review the terms and conditions and communicate her acceptance of the Scholarship in writing to BlackBerry. Failure to fulfill the requirements of the Program at any point during the four-year academic period will result in forfeiture of the remainder of the Award. In sum, the terms and conditions include (but are not limited to): The Recipient must remain an active, full-time student, enrolled in an undergraduate program in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math related fields at all times during the academic years of the Award. The Recipient must remain in good academic standing and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (or local equivalent) in order to maintain the award or forfeit the remainder of the Award. Recipient will be required to submit a current academic transcript following the end of each academic year, as will be detailed in the terms and conditions. Through the four years of study covered by the Award, the Recipient must use a BlackBerry® smartphone exclusively (to be provided by BlackBerry) and must participate in various BlackBerry “Keep Moving” projects, training, networking opportunities and mentoring programs identified by BlackBerry, and may be responsible for written materials from time to time as may be requested by BlackBerry. All written work product and blog entries will become property of BlackBerry. An internship at BlackBerry may be required for one three (3) month period during third or fourth year of study, with all related living and travel expenses associated with the internship to be paid by BlackBerry. Payment of the Scholarships will be made directly to the college or university in which the recipient is matriculated and enrolled on an annual basis before the start of each school year. Any tax implications for the Scholarship will depend on the tax law where the individual Recipient resides and may also depend on the policies and procedures at the college or university where the recipient has matriculated. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA All applicants to The BlackBerry® Scholars Program must be female and age 18 or older (or the equivalent age of majority where you live). If the applicant is a minor, consent for participation in the program and acceptance of the Award is required from their parent or legal guardian at the time of application for the Program. The Program is open to U.S. and non-U.S. students worldwide, unless otherwise indicated in these terms and conditions or in other documentation associated with the Program. Applicants must be entering as a full-time first year undergraduate at an accredited college or university and planning to pursue a course of study majoring or concentrating in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. Transfer between Science, Technology and Math programs will not affect payment of the award, however BlackBerry must be notified prior to any transfer. Employees of BlackBerry and members of the scholarship selection panel, and members of their immediate families or others living in the same household, are not eligible for a scholarship through the Program and should not apply. Scholarships of $2,500 will be offered to active-duty service personnel, honorably discharged U.S. military veterans, reservists, and National Guard personnel who are disabled because of wounds received during combat service in Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan or Iraqi Freedom Operations. Candidates must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in an eligible major at accredited two- or four-year institutions in the United States. Distance-learning or online programs affiliated with a major U.S. institution are eligible. The AFCEA Disabled War Veterans Scholarships are funded by generous contributions from Microsoft employees with matching funds from Microsoft, the AFCEA Camp Pendleton Chapter, and the AFCEA Educational Foundation. Eligibility: Applications are requested from U.S. Armed Forces and National Guard personnel, either currently on active-duty or honorably discharged veterans, or reservists who are disabled because of wounds received after service in either Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan or Iraqi Freedom. Scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded to students currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in the hard science or technology disciplines directly related to the mission of AFCEA while employed by a small business. Applicants must be a young professional (age 40 or under) with demonstrated entrepreneurial talents or accomplishments. Undergraduate candidates must be at least second-year students attending an accredited college or university in the United States. Graduate students must have completed at least two postgraduate-level classes prior to the deadline date. The scholarship is intended for students attending school on a part-time basis, whether at a two-year community college or accredited university institution. Part-time status will be defined as enrollment in at least two classes (semester-equivalent) with a declared major in a science or technology degree program or a declared major in a business field with a science or technology minor. Student enrolled in on-line or distance-learning programs will be eligible, as long as all other criteria are met. Eligible students must also be currently employed (see above). Eligibility: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, attending an accredited college or university in the United States as either a traditional or distance-learning student, and working toward a degree in the following C4I-related fields of electrical, computer, chemical, systems or communications engineering; computer science; physics; mathematics; technology management; computer information systems; management information systems or related fields. Business majors with a minor in science or technology are also eligible. An overall GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale or better is required. Undergraduate applications will be accepted from sophomore, junior and senior students - minimum second-year students please. Graduate applications will be accepted from students who have completed at least two postgraduate-level courses and are enrolled in an eligible degree-granting master's degree program.
