Harry S Truman Scholarship
Must be a full-time student with a junior level academic standing, with a commitment to a career in government or elsewhere in the public sector, have outstanding leadership potential and communication skills, plans to complete a graduate degree, is in the upper 1/4 of the class and is a U.S. citizen, or U.S. national, except for residents of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa or the Northern Marianas who must be in their senior class. Lawrence and Virginia Gould Memorial Scholarship in International Studies
Preference to juniors, seniors or graduate students with a 2.5 GPA majoring in Political Science/International Relations who have completed two courses in international relations and commit to completion of one additional course.
Political Science - Academic Opportunity Award
Scholarships are awarded to students in the following areas of study: American Government and Politics, Public Administration, Pre-law, and International Relations. These awards are for incoming freshmen only.
Naqvi Law Scholarship
This scholarship is judged primarily on need basis, but does not exclude achievement standards.
The scholarship must be submitted, in full, by December 31. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
-INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
-Applications for scholarship can be submitted by any high school senior or high school graduate in the state of Nevada.
-You must be seeking a law oriented degree.
-A student aid report showing income status of your household must be attached for application to be considered.
-Must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.
-A transcript must be attached with counselor or school representative signature for application to be considered.
-This scholarship is a one time scholarships worth $2,000.
-Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or resumes to substantiate their application.

Bertha and Byron L. Reppert Scholarship Fund
The Bertha and Byron L. Reppert Scholarship was established in 2001 in memory of their mother and to honor Byron L. Reppert’s then 80th Birthday by his four daughters and their extended families. The scholarship is to encourage and recognize two senior students (one Girl and one Boy) from the Mechanicsburg Area School Districtwho demonstrate good citizenship and actively exhibit an interest in political science, history, horticulture or journalism. This scholarship is an endowment fund of the Foundation for Enhancing Communities.Selection criteriaScholarship applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:1. Applicant must have an interest in political science or horticulture (i.e. participation in student council or local government, or in horticultural activities such as 4-H, local garden clubs, etc.)2. Applicant must be in the top one-third of their graduating class3. Applicant must be accepted to an accredited college or university4. Applicant must demonstrate good citizenship within the school and local community5. Applicant must complete an essay explaining how they meet the above mentioned criteria, one page, 12 pt font, double spaced6. Applicant with financial need is given consideration
Henry A Zuberano Scholarship
Requirements: Major in Political Science, International Relations, International Business or Public Administration. Be an undergraduate student.
Other Majors Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the Other Majors Application
Mark F. Olley Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: * Awarded to students interested in political science or law, enrolled at IU Bloomington for at least one year, and earning at least a 3.0 GPA. * Preference will be given to students with an active role in IUSA or the College Democrats. * Both an online application and a 500- to 750-word essay describing personal goals and involvement in making IU Bloomington a better place for their fellow students are required. * The essay needs to be submitted by e-mail to Debbie Narey, IUF scholarship coordinator, at [email protected].
John Gaus Award and Lectureship
The John Gaus Award and Lectureship honors the recipient's lifetime of exemplary scholarship in the joint tradition of political science and public administration and, more generally, recognizes and encourages scholarship in public administration.
Gladys M. Kammerer Award
The Gladys M. Kammerer prize is awarded annually for the best political science publication in the field of U.S. national policy. It carries a prize of $1000.
WOMEN AND POLITICS Best Dissertation Award
For the best dissertation on women and politics completed and accepted. To be eligible, a dissertation must be completed and successfully defended in the previous calendar year. Please send a copy of the dissertation to each committee member, along with a letter of recommendation by the Chair of the Dissertation Committee.
The Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship
The Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship program provides funding to participants as they are prepared academically and professionally to enter the United States Department of State Foreign Service. Women, members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, and students with financial need are encouraged to apply. The goal of the fellowship program is to attract outstanding students who enroll in two-year master's degree programs in public policy, international affairs, public administration, or academic fields such as business, economics, political science, sociology, or foreign languages, who represent all ethnic, racial and social backgrounds, and who have an interest in pursuing a Foreign Service career in the U.S. Department of State. The program develops a source of trained men and women who will represent the skill needs of the Department and who are dedicated to representing America's interests abroad. Fellowships: The fellowship award includes tuition, room, board, and mandatory fees during the junior and senior years of college and during the first year of graduate study.
