Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship Program (Christ College of Valparaiso University, Indiana)
Lilly Fellows are appointed for two years at a rank equivalent to that of assistant professor. The salary is $41,000 for the coming academic year, plus standard benefits, a moving allowance and an annual travel allowance to attend conferences. Fellows are expected to be in local residence throughout the terms of their appointments. These teaching Fellowships are open to new scholar-teachers interested in the relationship between Christianity and the academic vocation and seriously considering a career at a church-related college or university. Research or dissertation topics are not restricted to religion. Fellows will be recruited from the following disciplines: art and art history; creative writing; history; interdisciplinary studies; languages and literatures; music and music history; philosophy; religion; rhetoric; theater history and theater arts. Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their interest in the goals of the Lilly Fellows Program and a sense of commitment to explore teaching and scholarship as a Christian vocation.
Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship
This scholarship is open to students with exceptional talent in vocal music, instrumental music, drama, or art. Scholarship amount is $500-$10,000.
Opal Tribble Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: • Theatre major actively involved in a variety of capacities in the department• Must demonstrate leadership in terms of departmental growth and recruitment• Based on financial need (apply and qualify for financial aid using the FAFSA form)* Must maintain at least a 3.00 GPA within the major GPA: 3.00
Whitney Arcee Foundation
The foundations primary interests are education, social services, humanities, and the arts in MN. Applications are also accepted from individuals pursuing college or graduate school degrees or considering a religious career, and are in need of scholarship, fellowship, or loan assistance; fine arts and performing arts will also be considered.
Heath Ledger Scholarship Fund
The fund provides financial aid for Australian actors to help them pursue a career in Hollywood. The scholarship will help cover the costs of acting classes and rent.
Harry Moore Memorial Scholarship In The Arts
* One scholarship awarded annually worth up to US$10,000 per annum * For study at the undergraduate and graduate levels with preference given to the latter * Approved fields of study are the fine, visual and performing arts, as well as arts education * Samples or work and/or auditions and interviews are required * Candidates must fill out the Academic Scholarship Application Form as well as the Arts Supplement Form Giving primarily in the Bahamas.
Susie Qimmiqsak Bevins Endowment Scholarship Fund
Established in 1990 through the CIRI Golf Classic in appreciation of Ms. Bevins, a renowned Inupiat artist and proponent of Alaska Native heritage preservation. General semester scholarships are available for post-secondary visual, performing and literary arts students.
Music Scholarships, Nickels for Notes
Senior in a Massachusetts high school. Competitve scholarships of $800 for major in piano, instrument, music education or music therapy.
Edward A. and Shirley B. Livi Scholarship
For residents of Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire Counties who are pursuing fine or performing arts beyond their freshman year. One $500 award was made in previous year.
