Nursing Scholarships

Here are some of the Nursing scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Dr. Thomas E. & Mary M. Ashley Nursing School Scholarship

Scholarship Type: Medical/Nursing Scholarship Amount: *Two $500 scholarships Residency Requirements: Southwest MO preferred School Requirements: St. Johns and Cox School of Nursing Eligibility Requirements 1. Must have matriculated into a nursing degree program 2. Must demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA- SAR 3. Applicants from Southwest Missouri are preferred 4. Past recipients of the scholarship may re-apply for renewal Other Requirements Amount: *Two $500 scholarships

Danville Regional Medical Center Auxiliary/Volunteers Scholarship

Danville Regional Medical Center employees and volunteers and their immediate families (current spouses, children, step-children or grandchildren), who are studying in a medical field. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED: Please include the name of the employee or volunteer, your relationship to this person and whether they are an employee or a volunteer. If you are a volunteer, please indicate the number of hours you volunteered last year. Also, indicate the medical field you are pursuing.

Eleanor M. Morrissey Scholarship

Graduating seniors from Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties pursuing a career in nursing. One $1,000 award was made in previous year.

New York State ENA September 11 Scholarship

This fund awards scholarships to rescue workers who are going to school to obtain their associates or undergraduate nursing degree. Eligible rescue workers include pre-hospital care providers, firefighters, and police officers. The scholarship is not limited geographically. The scholarship winner will also be awarded a complimentary one year ENA membership. Requirements: Proof of acceptance into a pre-licensed nursing program and proof of at least one year of pre-hospital work experience is required. Applicants must be a member of a state or national professional EMT, firefighter or police officer Association. Applicant must be pursuing an associates or baccalaureate degree in nursing. Applicants need not be an ENA member, but a letter of reference is required from a current ENA member.

Elsevier EMS Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is supported by Elsevier, Inc. The Elsevier scholarship is awarded to pre-hospital personnel (EMT or EMT-paramedics) pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Requirements: Proof of acceptance into an undergraduate nursing program and proof of at least one year of pre-hospital work experience is required. Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and be a member of a state or national professional Emergency Services Association (i.e., National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, etc). Applicants need not be an ENA member, but a letter of reference is required from a current ENA member.

Monster Undergraduate Scholarship

Support for this scholarship is provided by Monster as a 2009 ENA Strategic Sponsor. Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to a nurse (RN, LPN or LVN) who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Applicants must meet all standard eligibility requirements listed below for all ENA Foundation scholarships. Eligibility Requirements: * A minimum of a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for consideration. * Applicants must be attending a NLN or AACN accredited school.

Charles Kunz Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is named in memory of Charles Kunz, father of 2005 ENA President, Patricia Kunz Howard. Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to a nurse (RN, LPN or LVN) who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Eligibility Requirements: * A minimum of a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for consideration. * Applicants must be attending a NLN or AACN accredited school.

Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) Undergraduate Scholarship

Support for this scholarship is provided by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) organization. Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to a nurse (RN) with a current BCEN credential (CEN, CFRN, CTRN, or CPEN) who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Eligibility Requirements: * A minimum of a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for consideration. * Applicants must be attending a NLN or AACN accredited school.

California State Council - Helen Breton Memorial Scholarship

Funding for this scholarship, in memory of Helen Breton, is made possible by the generosity of the California ENA State Council members through the 2008 ENA Foundation State Challenge Campaign. Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to an emergency nurse (RN) pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN). Eligibility Requirements: * A minimum of a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for consideration. * Applicants must be attending a NLN or AACN accredited school.

Illinois State Council Pam Baker Memorial Scholarship

Funding for this scholarship, in memory of Pam Baker, is made possible by the generosity of the Illinois ENA State Council members through the 2008 ENA Foundation State Challenge Campaign. Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to an emergency nurse (RN) pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN). Eligibility Requirements: * A minimum of a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for consideration. * Applicants must be attending a NLN or AACN accredited school.

Minnesota State Council (Pathways) Scholarship
