Nursing Scholarships

Here are some of the Nursing scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

New York State ENA September 11 Scholarship – Rescue Workers

Funding for these scholarships are made possible by the generosity of the New York ENA State Council members through the ENA Foundation State Challenge campaign. These scholarships are not limited geographically and are awarded to rescue workers who are obtaining an associates or baccalaureate degree in nursing. Eligible rescue workers include pre-hospital care providers, firefighters, and police officers. The scholarship winners will also receive a complimentary one year ENA membership. Requirements: Proof of acceptance into a pre-licensed nursing program and proof of at least one year of pre-hospital work experience is required. Applicants must be a member of a state or national professional EMT, firefighter or police officer association. Applicants do not need to be a member of ENA member, but a letter of reference is required from a current ENA member.General Eligibility:? A minimum of a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for consideration. Applicants must be attending a NLN or AACN accredited school and must provide verification of the schools current accreditation. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible to reapply under the same category. However, qualified previous recipients may apply for the next category.

Charles Kunz Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is named in memory of Charles Kunz, father of 2005 ENA President, Patricia Kunz Howard. Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to a nurse (RN, LPN or LVN) who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Applicants must meet all standard eligibility requirements.General Eligibility:? ?Applicants must be an ENA member for a minimum of twelve (12) months immediately prior to applying. Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) Undergraduate Scholarship

Support for this scholarship is provided by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) organization. Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to a nurse (RN) with a current BCEN credential (CEN, CFRN, CTRN, or CPEN) who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Applicants must meet all standard eligibility requirements.General Eligibility:? ?Applicants must be an ENA member for a minimum of twelve (12) months immediately prior to applying. Non-RN category applicants are not required to be an ENA member but a letter of reference from a current ENA member is required. A minimum of a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for consideration. Applicants must be attending a NLN or AACN accredited school and must provide verification of the schools current accreditation. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible to reapply under the same category. However, qualified previous recipients may apply for the next category. ENA Foundation Scholarship: Master’s in Healthcare or Related Field

Funding for this scholarship is made possible through the generosity of those who contributed to the ENA Foundation in 2009. This scholarship is awarded to an emergency nurse (RN) pursuing an advance degree in healthcare. These degrees include but are not limited to degrees in business (MBA), public health (MPH), nurse education (N.Ed.) and Informatics. California State Council – Robert Toman Memorial Scholarship

Funding for this scholarship, in memory of Robert Toman, is made possible by the generosity of the California ENA State Council and its members through contributions to the 2009 ENA Foundation State Challenge campaign. Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to an emergency nurse (RN) pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN). Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to an emergency nurse (RN) pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN).
