Nursing Scholarships

Here are some of the Nursing scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Bilingual Nurse Fellows Program

Banner Health, South Mountain Community College and GateWay Community College formed a partnership to address the critical need for bilingual nurses. The program is designated to address the need for nurses who speak, read and write English and Spanish. Through this program, individuals who are selected to participate must be fluent and literate in Spanish and English. Banner Health will pay for the selected students tuition, books and fees for the remaining four semesters of their nursing program.

Community Nursing Education Assistance Program

The program gives nursing students both immediate education assistance and a future at one of Banner Healths Arizona facilities. The program provides a maximum award of $1,500 per recipient per semester.

National Nurse Scholar Program

The program provides nursing students outside of Arizona in their final four semesters, education assistance and a future at one of Banner Healths western facilities. It provides nursing program students the opportunity to receive education assistance in exchange for an employment commitment after completion of the degree program. The program provides a maximum award of $1,200 per recipient per semester.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Education Assistance Program

The program provides a maximum award of $10,000 per recipient per year up to a maximum of $20,000 for 2 years. Receipts may be submitted each semester for reimbursement. The amount of the award is dependent on submitted receipts for tuition, books and fees. In exchange, awardees will sign an agreement promising to work for Banner Health full-time as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner following graduation from the masters level Neonatal Nurse Practitioner nursing program.

Nurse Fellows Program

The program is designed to increase the capacity of existing college nursing programs while building a pipeline of qualified registered nurses for Banner Health. The program provides students entering the Maricopa Community College nursing program the opportunity to receive education assistance in exchange for an employment commitment after completion of the nursing degree program.

Gill-Kline Scholarship

Graduating seniors or graduates who reside in the Battle creek area who will be attending college and will be pursuing a career in nursing. Applicants must exhibit a strong community involvement and maintain a 3.0 GPA. How to Apply: General BCCF application and scholarship essay as explained on the last page of the application. Ben Glo Foundation Inc. Scholarship

The Ben Glo Foundation Inc. Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher majoring in mathematics, science, or medical field and with a demonstrated financial need.

Benjamin Trust Fund

Scholarships provide partial support for individuals living in the Virgin Islands who have pursued degrees in nursing, midwifery, physical therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, master’s level public health and audiology. Other degree and certificate programs may be considered.

Brevillier Village Foundation, Inc.

Giving scholarships to students interested in taking up nursing education. Please contact the foundation through letter for more information.

Nursing Scholarships Program

In collaboration with the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation, scholarships are available to Bronx residents planning to pursue a career in nursing at Lehman College. Scholarships are available for Registered Nurse (four-year scholarship) and Licensed Practical Nurse (two-year scholarship) degrees; scholarships include tuition, books, and public transportation. Eligible applicants must be residents of the Bronx who have a high-school diploma or GED, and who meet minimum income requirements.

Joan Camp Memorial Scholarship Foundation

The foundation provides scholarships to students of the Princeville School District who are interested in pursuing college, university, technical and similar advanced education and training in the R.N. and L.P.N. nursing fields. Limited to residents of Illinois.

The Sono Osato Scholarship Fund for Graduate Studies

We will be offering a limited number of competitive scholarships based on academic merit and financial need for current and former dancers who have received the maximum amount from the Caroline H. Newhouse Scholarship Fund and are pursuing graduate degrees in fields other than performance dance. The Osato Scholarship will be limited to a one-time grant of up to $5,000 to any one individual, paying for tuition and fees only. It is anticipated that the endowment will generate funds sufficient to award a grant to a minimum of two applicants annually. Award checks will be made out to the institution. Awards will not be granted retroactively (e.g. not be used to reimburse dancers for tuition already paid, for loans or other credit debt.) To be eligible to apply for a Sono Osato Scholarship applicants must: Have received the maximum allowed amount from the Newhouse Scholarship Fund. Have achieved a minimum 3.5 GPA for an undergraduate or graduate degree, or recent pre-requisite coursework. Be studying or planning to study at the graduate level for a degree in one of the approved areas, such as professional degrees (law and medicine), the medical arts (nursing, physicians assistant, physical therapy, etc.), the helping professions (social work, counseling, psychology, creative arts therapies, etc.), physical and social sciences, education, business and the humanities. Previous recipients of a Gasparinetti Scholarship award are not eligible to apply for an Osato Scholarship.
