Elizabeth Garde Nursing Scholarship
To provide financial assistance for nursing education to members or relatives of members of the Danish Sisterhood of America. Amount Awarded: $850 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year; nonrenewable. Eligibility: This program is open to members or the family of members of the sisterhood who have completed a minimum of 1 full year of study on the undergraduate level in a program to become a registered nurse. Graduates who are interested in pursuing a nursing career are also eligible. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0.
Emergency Nurses Association Foundation Advanced Nursing Practice Scholarships
To provide financial assistance to members of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) who are pursuing an advanced clinical practice degree. Amount Awarded: $2500 Number Awarded: 2 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to registered nurses who have been members of the association for at least 12 months. Applicants must be pursuing an advanced clinical degree to become a nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist.
Emergency Nurses Association Foundation Doctoral Scholarship
To provide financial assistance to members of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) who are pursuing a doctoral degree. Amount Awarded: $4000 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to registered nurses who have been members of the association for at least 12 months. Applicants must be pursuing a doctoral degree. Additional Information: Funding for this scholarship is provided by various contributions to the Foundation of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA).
Save a Life Scholarship

ENA Foundation Research Grants
To provide funding for research that will advance the specialized practice of emergency nursing. Amount Awarded: $1000 Number Awarded: 2 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to any RN involved in emergency nursing. All relevant research topics are considered, although priority is given to studies that relate to the ENA Foundation research initiatives. For 1 of the grants, priority is given to applications that focus on DEEDS.
ENA Foundation Special Project/Program Development Grant
To provide funding for projects that will enhance the care of emergency patients. Amount Awarded: $1500 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: This program is open to any RN involved in emergency nursing. Applications must be for support of development of projects, programs, or teaching materials that will enhance the care of emergency patients. Programs may be targeted to the emergency nurse, emergency patient, or general public. Priority is given to applications that focus on DEEDS.
ENA Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a nurse who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Applicants must be ENA members for a minimum of twelve months prior to applying. Duration: 1 year.
Erma B. Kraft Scholarship Fund
To qualify for an FNF scholarship, you must be admitted and enrolled in an accredited State of Florida nursing program. Eligible students include those in associate, baccalaureate, and or Master's programs. You must also be a resident of Florida at least one year. Amount Awarded: $250 to $2,000 Duration: 1 year.
Ethel R. Ferrara Scholarship
Awarded to student enrolled in a nursing program who demonstrate financial need, have maintained a 3.0 GPA (2.0 for practical nursing), and have demonstrated clinical proficiency, enthusiasm, and motivation in their studies of nursing. Preference will be given to students who are full-time and in the latter half of their nursing program. Preference will be given to Rhode Island residents enrolled in a Rhode Island nursing program.
Application Procedure:
The applicant must submit an essay and a cover letter that includes her/his name, address, telephone number, email address, nursing program, and expected date of graduation.
The essay is to be a short, two to three paragraph essay about the reason(s) why the scholarship is needed to complete the nursing program.
One (1) copy of the student’s transcript must be included by applicant and mailed with the cover letter.
Two (2) letters of recommendation with one (1) from a nursing faculty member must be mailed by individuals writing the recommendations, postmarked by June 1st, to the address below.

Ethics Career Development Award
To provide funding for continuing education to nurses concerned about clinical ethics. Amount Awarded: $3000 Number Awarded: 1 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: The candidate must be a professional registered nurse interested in obtaining knowledge about clinical ethics in oncology nursing. Selection is based on clarity of the professional goal statement and congruence of goal statement with educational activity selected; indication of proposed contribution to oncology nursing; and recommendations. This award is not intended to supplement tuition in a master's degree program.
Ethnic Minority Academic Master's Scholarships
To provide financial assistance to ethnic minorities interested in working on a master's degree in nursing. Amount Awarded: $3000 Number Awarded: 2 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: The candidate must 1) be a registered nurse with a demonstrated interest in and commitment to cancer nursing; 2) be enrolled in a graduate nursing degree program at an NLN-accredited school of nursing; 3) not have previously received a master's scholarship from the Oncology Nursing Foundation; 4) have a current license to practice as a registered nurse; and 5) be a member of an ethnic minority group. Additional Information: Recipients may attend school on a part-time or full-time basis. At the end of each year of scholarship participation, recipients must submit a summary describing their educational activities.
Ethnic Minority Bachelor's Scholarships
To provide financial assistance to ethnic minorities for undergraduate studies in oncology nursing. Amount Awarded: $2000 Number Awarded: 3 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: The candidate must 1) be a registered nurse with a demonstrated interest in and commitment to cancer nursing; 2) be enrolled in a undergraduate nursing degree program at an NLN-accredited school of nursing; 3) have a current license to practice as a registered nurse; 4) not have previously received a bachelor's scholarship from the Oncology Nursing Foundation; and 5) be a member of an ethnic minority group. Additional Information: At the end of each year of scholarship participation, recipients must submit a summary describing their educational activities.
