Here are some of the Medicine scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.
AAMD Founders Scholarships
The Founders Scholarship is named to honor those medical dosimetrists involved in founding the AAMD in 1975. Both medical dosimetry students selected for this award showed academic excellence and promise for the future. Each recipient was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
Special Recognition Scholarship
This award is for a medical dosimetry student that desires to carry the profession of medical dosimetry and the field of radiation oncology to his home in Africa. This award was for $3,000.
McLean DDS Medical Scholarship
McLean DDS supports students pursuing a medical degree. Through the McLean DDS Medical Scholarship, we award the winning student $1,000 to be used toward his or her degree. In addition, we award $250 book scholarships to the two runners-up.
Healthcare Leaders Scholarship

REQUIREMENTS
The Healthcare Leaders Scholarship is offered to students entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine. Applicant must be a US citizen, at least 17 years of age, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
All applicants must submit a 600 to 1,000-word essay explaining what they hope to accomplish during their career in the medical field and how the scholarship would fulfill those goals. Recommended topics are included in the Personal Essay section.
All applications must be received by January 29th, 2018. Finalists will be notified in February and must provide proof of enrollment and GPA (letters of acceptance, transcripts, etc.) before the scholarship recipient is selected.
SELECTION
Applications will be reviewed by a panel. The winner will be selected based on the criteria set forth in the requirements section of this document.
Once the winner is decided and notified of the award, he/she will receive a mailed 1099-MISC tax form and the check will be delivered to their address. The winner of the scholarship award will be fully responsible for the taxes incurred from receiving the award.
AISES Travel Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA - Applicants MUST meet all of the following criteria: 1. Must have a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA). 2. Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited four year college/university, or a full-time student at a two year college enrolled in a program leading to an academic degree. 3. Majoring in one of the following college disciplines at a accredited 4-year college or university: * Math * Medicine * Physical Science * Technology * Science * Engineering * Natural Resources 4. Must be a member of an American Indian tribe or otherwise considered to be an American Indian by the tribe with which affiliation is claimed; or is at least 1/4 American Indian blood; or is at least 1/4 Alaskan Native; or considered to be an Alaskan Native by an Alaskan Native group to which affiliation is claimed. 5. Dr. Francis Anthony Beneventi Medical Scholarship
The Dr. Francis Anthony Beneventi Medical scholarship is a preferred amount up to $5000 awarded to students who have been accepted into or who are pursing an approved course of study to become a medical doctor (no pre-med) at an approved, accredited medical school, college of university. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25. The scholarship is not automatically renewable; however, recipients may reapply for consideration each year for up to four consecutive years.Awards are based on academic merit, commitment to the field of study and financial need. No affiliation with DAR is necessary unless specified.Awards are placed on deposit with the college or university; any unused portion shall be returned to the National Society.
Health Careers Scholarship Program
The Health Careers Scholarship Program was started in May 1976. It is supported through individual contributions of the Order's members. Since there is no set budget, the number of scholarships available may vary from year to year.Students preparing for careers in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, physical or occupational therapy, and medical technologies are eligible to apply. A student must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen, enrolled full time in a school accredited in the field involved and application must be for at least the third year of college. R.N. students must have completed the first year of schooling. Pre-med students are not eligible to apply. For those students seeking degrees of M.D. or D.D.S. application must be for at least the second year of medical or dental school. There is no age limit. Scholarships are for $1000.00.Requests for applications must include a stamped, self-addressed legal size envelope.
Mental Health Education Scholarship
Vantage Point Recovery is offering our annual General Education and Mental Health Education Scholarship! We are dedicated to helping to support education specific to mental health. Any student currently enrolled in an accredited college is considered eligible.
The Healthline & NORD Stronger Scholarship
This year’s scholarship is dedicated to the advancement of rare and chronic diseases, either through research, patient advocacy, raising awareness, or community building. The program will award four students with a $5,000 scholarship each.
John J. Ayash Memorial Scholarship
To financially assist second or third year North Dakota medical students on the basis of need at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.
Kenneth & Leila Morris Dental Scholarship
Priorities for this scholarship are as follows:1. First priority is for students from the Bismarck-Mandan area who are third of fourth year students of dentistry.2. If there are no applicants from the Bismarck-Mandan area in any given year, the scholarship may be awarded to a student of dentistry from anywhere in North Dakota.3. If according to the previous two preferences there are no eligible applicants, the scholarship may be awarded to a student of medicine from the Bismarck-Mandan area or if no applicants from the Bismarck-Mandan area, then statewide.
Priority application deadline is June 15th. Please apply before this date to be considered for priority selection. Applications received after this date will be considered based on available funds.
Medical Student Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:1. Must be a medical student in good standing at a recognized School of Medicine within the UnitedStates.2. Must show evidence of financial need.3. Preference will be given to local applicants (Yuba City north to the Oregon border)The North Valley Health Education Foundation is committed to supporting medical students who arefrom the north state and could potentially return to the area to practice medicine. Between four and eight$2,500 scholarships will be awarded. The number of scholarships and amounts can vary from year toyear.
